OHS (Ornamental Handheld Scope) Randy & Shelley Knapp
The OHS or Ornamental Handheld Scope was the handheld ornamental scope.Ā It was an open edition with a final count of 37.Ā These were made after Randy made his own Rose Engine in 2005.Ā The scopes are individually signed, numbered and dated.Ā They were made from 2005-2006.
The barrels are made from various solid woods, ornamentally turned.Ā The turning end is ornamentally turned and anodized aluminum.Ā They have a dry cell, side lit with a black background.Ā The cell has dichroic windows/filters, a black background with a colored piece of plastic over the black and a thick piece of clear over the colors.Ā The cells are ornamentally turned in the thick clear outer surface.
The cell contains flame worked glass by Shelley.
The scopes have a 2M/6P mirror system.
