Grenouille Paradis Marshall Fisher Contact Marshall Via Email

This kaleidoscope (“Grenouille Paradis” or “Frog Heaven”) is my homage to Monet’s lily pad pond and garden in Giverny. The body is fused glass with raised lily pad leaves and lampworked flower tendrils, accented with a walnut top and base. I like to think of a sophisticated, urbane and artistic frog who might choose to live on such an Art Deco lily pad.

The interior is a tapered, truncated three-mirror prism in which the top mirror is dichroic. The rotating fluid-filled cell contains lampworked, dichroic and fused pieces. The cell is interchangeable.
