GODZILLA Koji Yamami

Godzilla has been a dream of mine since I was a little boy.
I had a small figurine of Godzilla with me that I always looked at.
I wanted to make a work of art of Godzilla, and this time I took on the challenge of creating this work. It was a long journey, but I was overwhelmed with emotion when it was completed.

More Information about this scope

This kaleidoscope is made entirely of Dichroic glass, my favorite material.

This scope has two kind of mirror system, both of them are tapered three mirror system, however I add a little magic in them.

And it has also two kind of object cell, the one is liquid cell with a very little amount of glycerin, because I wanted object to be stick to inside of glass tube. And the other cell is cylinder which is made of Dichroic glass.

I wanted to express the strength of GODZILLA for inside images.
