Imagine creating kaleidoscopic images from your garden blossoms, foliage and scenic landscape. The Botanical Garden Kaleidoscope is a 4″ x 22″ teleidoscope in a powder coated aluminum case. It is mounted on a post and base. The base has wheels that allows it to be relocated without lifting.
Key to the images is a 100mm crystal sphere that captures the views and brings them into a 3 mirror system.
The case can be tilted or rotated and will stay in that position until you change it.
It is designed for indoor or outdoor use in a private yard, municipal park, public gardens or territorial view point.
The first installation has just been made at the Waterfront Botanical Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky. These gardens are the subject of the redevelopment of a 23 acre landfill on the Ohio River waterfront in Louisville. They plan to move the portable scope to various locations as blossoms and foliage change seasonally throughout the gardens.
You can visit the gardens on the internet at waterfrontgardens.org
