I am ROCCO Ramon, an artist and former architect working from my studio in Israel. After practicing architecture for over two decades, I transitioned to crafting kaleidoscopes, discovering that both disciplines share the same fundamental challenge: an angle either resolves, or it does not. In a building, you feel it in the space. In a kaleidoscope, you see it the moment you look through the lens. I individually machine and hand-assemble bespoke instruments from solid brass. Ranging from 5 to 28 cm, they feature precise front-surface mirror systems and unique wheels crafted from glass, stone, and salvaged materials. Because every piece is built individually and no two wheels are alike, every visual landscape is entirely singular. My work spans original gallery pieces and custom commissions. I frequently transform the shards of a traditional wedding glass into a custom kaleidoscope that preserves the memory, and I engrave bespoke brass instruments for corporate recognition programs. Every instrument is signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. With over 300 pieces now held by collectors worldwide, I warmly welcome inquiries from galleries, stores, and private clients. ROCCO Ramon Ā· Studio Yabaye Ā· yaba-ye.com
