Biography/Artist Statement

We started as a small family business making kaleidoscopes in 1994. And retired from scope making in 2025. Located in Switzerland, we decided to combine our love for alpine crystals and other stones with the beauty of a kaleidoscope image. Thus our first marble-scopes were created. They were made out of a metal pipe and decorated with a Swiss rock crystal, which we sold at handcraft markets throughout Switzerland. Since these early years, we have experimented with different models and different mirror systems using metal, glass, wood and other materials as the body to create new kaleidoscopes and teleidoscopes in small numbers or as a one of a kind piece. Selling our kaleidoscopes at fairs, online and to small retailers, we hope to bring the beauty of its images back into peoples’ lives. They are a gift for a little king, a jester, a princess, a wizard, or anyone with some magic in their heart.
