Happy Labor Day from the Brewster Kaleidoscope Society! 🌀

Today we’re celebrating the hands behind the wonder.

The artists who cut the glass.
Turn the wood.
Build the mirror systems.
Work with metal.
Create the object cells.
And somehow transform all those individual pieces into a little world of color, light and infinite possibility.

And perhaps we should celebrate the collectors, too… because someone has to do the very important work of looking through them. 😉

Here’s to the artists, makers, craftspeople — and kaleidoscope lovers everywhere — whose passion keeps this remarkable art form turning.

Happy Labor Day! May your day include a little less labor…and a lot more wonder.

✨ Happy Mother’s Day ✨

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, chosen mothers, nurturers, artists, caretakers, and guides who bring beauty, strength, wisdom, and color into our lives.

Like a kaleidoscope, motherhood is ever-changing — filled with delicate moments, unexpected patterns, resilience, reflection, and wonder. No two journeys are ever the same, yet each creates something uniquely beautiful.

May your day be filled with love, rest, connection, and small moments that shimmer back to you. 💜💚✨

With love and appreciation from
The Brewster Kaleidoscope Society

We're starting a series about Kaleidoscopes and the Brewster Society... "Did you know?"

It only seems logical to start with our namesake, Sir David Brewster, in 1816! From Cozy Baker's Through the Kaleidoscope ...and Beyond. Did you know? 😊 ... See MoreSee Less

Anyone else feel like a kaleidoscopeaholic? 😝

How blessed I am to have found a purse that has 16 pockets and I can fit at least 11 substantial Kaleidoscopes in them to take wherever I’d like to go.

How do you travel with your kaleidoscope?

Can anyone name the Kaleidoscopes that are in the purse? Or know what designer created the bag, or who her famous Kaleidoscope designer sister is?

Happy 1st day of the year! ... See MoreSee Less
