Al Teich is Director of Science and Policy Programs at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). His professional interests include U.S. science policy; interactions between technology and society; environmental issues; and international scientific cooperation. Teich holds a Ph.D. in political science and a B.S. in physics, both from M.I.T. He has been widely quoted in newspapers in the U.S. and abroad and has appeared many times on radio and TV. He has traveled extensively and is an avid swimmer and an accomplished amateur photographer.
