I saw these in Minnesota a couple years ago at an Arboretum. So very cool!

As a reminder the Brewster Kaleidoscope Society Expo planned for this weekend (May 20-23, 2021) in Raleigh, NC has been cancelled.

We will meet next year in Saint Louis, MO Thursday May 12th thru Sunday May 15th, 2022.

Missing all our wonderful kaleidoscope artists, collectors, retailers and friends this weekend.

Tune in this evening at 7pm EST for a free live piano concert by Andy Wasserman with his very own original work dedicated to kaleidoscopes and teleidoscopes! Andy will discuss the similarities between looking at a piece of music - and looking through a kaleidoscope/teleidoscope.

If you cannot tune in tonight, the content will be available in the archives on his site later in the evening.

A truly talented man has been lost but our memories of him and his beautiful work will live on.

I’ll miss those late nights with Ben and Jim at the conventions.

Several of my earliest scopes were his alabaster masterpieces. May his memory be for a blessing.

I'll miss him. I'm lucky to have 3 of his beautiful scopes. He was a such a nice guy to know.

He was a dear, funny, and talented man!!!!! My condolences!

I so enjoyed knowing him, wish I'd had the chance to know him better. Very friendly, with a lovely smile. Still remember the first meeting, and that smile...my condolences to his family and friends.

May the lovely scopes he made, and the fascinating trips he described, be an eternal tribute to his memory.
